About this policy

Net Worth Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and securing your financial information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have regarding your information. By downloading, installing, or using the mobile application version of the Service you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.

Who is responsible for your information

Exe Labs LLC is the data controller for Net Worth Tracker. If you have questions or wish to exercise your data rights, contact support@exelabsllc.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, preferences, and profile settings.
  • Financial data: account and transaction information obtained when you connect financial institutions through our third-party partners (for example, Plaid). We do not store bank login credentials.
  • Subscription and billing information: subscription tier, billing platform, subscription status, trial and renewal dates, and limited billing identifiers such as processor customer, transaction, or subscription reference IDs needed to activate and manage paid features.
  • Usage and device data: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, crash reports, and analytics data collected automatically when you use our services.
  • Communications: records of your communications with support (emails, in-app messages) and optional feedback you provide.

How we collect information

  • Directly: when you create an account, connect an account, or contact us.
  • From third parties: when you connect financial institutions through partners such as Plaid, or when we use analytics and monitoring services.
  • Automatically: via cookies, analytics, and server logs when you use our website and apps.

How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Net Worth Tracker service, including account linking, balance and transaction aggregation, and visualizations.
  • To activate, manage, restore, and enforce paid subscriptions, free trials, renewals, and feature entitlements.
  • To operate, secure, and troubleshoot our systems and detect or prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
  • To analyze and improve our product and for internal research and analytics.
  • Only with your consent, to send marketing communications; you can opt out at any time.

Sharing and disclosures

We share information only in limited circumstances, including:

  • Service providers: vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, email, and subscription or payment processors).
  • Financial connectivity partners: when you choose to connect a financial account, we rely on partners like Plaid to obtain account and transaction data. Plaid's use of your data is governed by their privacy policy and terms.
  • Subscription platforms: if you purchase through Apple, your payment is processed by Apple App Store. If you purchase through our web checkout, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We receive limited subscription and transaction details needed to confirm purchases, provide access, and support your subscription, but we do not receive or store your full payment card number.
  • Legal obligations: if required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect rights and property.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; notice will be provided if your personal information is transferred.

Payments and subscriptions

If you subscribe to paid features, your transaction may be processed by Apple App Store on iOS or by Stripe on the web. Payment card details are collected and processed by the applicable platform under its own terms and privacy policy; Net Worth Tracker does not store complete payment card numbers. We may store subscription metadata such as your selected plan, billing platform, subscription status, trial state, renewal or expiration dates, and processor reference IDs to provide the subscription service and customer support.

International transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries. When we transfer personal data across borders we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms where required.

Data retention and deletion

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account we will remove or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion by contacting support@exelabsllc.com.

Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data. Sensitive financial data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and transmissions are protected using TLS. While we take steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
