Terms of Service

1. Overview

Welcome to Net Worth Tracker ("NWT", "we", "our", or "us"), a financial aggregation and visualization service provided by Exe Labs LLC ("Exe Labs LLC"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and other products and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. By downloading, installing, or using the mobile application version of the Service you expressly acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by local law) to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To use certain features of the Service you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your account credentials secure, and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the App, including accessing data not intended for you.

5. License & Restrictions

Subject to these Terms, Exe Labs LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not (and must not assist others to): (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service; (b) reverse engineer or attempt to discover source code; (c) use the Service to transmit malicious code; or (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Financial Data & Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party providers (for example, Plaid) to connect to your financial institutions and retrieve account and transaction data. By connecting an account you authorize these providers to share data with us. We do not store your bank credentials, and we rely on third-party partners' security practices in providing connectivity. Use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

Some features of the Service may be offered for a fee through an automatically renewing subscription. If you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes and authorize the applicable billing platform to charge your selected payment method.

  • Billing platforms: subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions purchased on the web are billed through Stripe.
  • Auto-renewal: unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period or free-trial period, your subscription will renew automatically for the same subscription term at the then-current price presented to you at purchase or renewal, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Free trials and promotional offers: we may offer free trials or promotional pricing from time to time. Unless otherwise disclosed at the time of offer, when a free trial ends your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your billing platform will charge you.
  • Managing and cancellation: App Store subscriptions must be managed and canceled through your Apple App Store subscription settings. Web subscriptions billed via Stripe must be managed through the billing portal we make available in the Service.
  • Refunds: refunds, credits, and billing disputes are handled by the billing platform that processed your purchase, subject to that platform's policies and applicable law. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once charged.
  • Price changes: we may change subscription pricing prospectively. Any price change will apply no earlier than your next renewal and will be subject to any notice required by law or by the applicable billing platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may close your account at any time by following the instructions in the Service or contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end; we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Exe Labs LLC and its licensors. The trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Service are the property of Exe Labs LLC and others. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Exe Labs LLC name or any of its trademarks.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". EXE LABS LLC MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of financial data obtained from third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Exe Labs LLC, its affiliates, or their officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Exe Labs LLC's aggregate liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Exe Labs LLC for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Exe Labs LLC and its affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your use of the Service.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Exe Labs LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any dispute you have with Exe Labs LLC, you agree to first contact us at support@exelabsllc.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we are unable to resolve the dispute, you and Exe Labs LLC agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration or in the courts as set out in the notice you receive at the time you sign up, where applicable.

14. Changes to the Terms

Exe Labs LLC reserves the right to change, modify, or revise these Terms at any given point in time without any prior notice to customers. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes; your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Third-party links and services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by Exe Labs LLC. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Exe Labs LLC regarding the Service.
